Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento believes in acting locally and impacting globally!

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento tithes over 10% of our unrestricted funds to support Habitat for Humanity’s global mission to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness.

Over the last 31 years, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento has tithed over $1,000,000 of unrestricted dollars and has built over 550 housing solutions overseas helping needy families in less fortunate countries realize the dream of homeownership.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is currently a tithe partner to Hábitat para la Humanidad Nicaragua, the second poorest country in Latin America.  Our tithe partnership began over 25 years ago and has been growing rapidly in the past few years as we here locally attempt to make an even bigger difference in Sacramento and the world around us.

Global Village Trips

In March of 2012, Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento put together our first Global Village Tour to Nicaragua, sending 12 volunteers on a 9-day journey to build hope and homes for families in Nicaragua.

In 2014, we look forward to hosting 3 teams for Global Village Trips to Nicaragua from our local affiliate, including our first ever Global Village Women Build.
