Alternative Spring Break - Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento

Looking for a more meaningful way to spend your college vacation?  Alternative Spring break is a year-round alternative break program offering groups of five or more participants a unique opportunity to give back in a substantial way while having fun building on the construction site and experiencing a new city.

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Gather a group of five to 20 participants
  • Everyone must be 18 years of age or older
  • $250/person donation to Habitat for Humanity
  • Responsible for own travel and transport to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento and the job sites

Here’s what you can expect

  • Tuesday-Saturday Volunteer Schedule including 1 day in the ReStore and up to 4 days in Construction.
  • Habitat provides all the tools, equipment, and training needed for your volunteer days – NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
  • Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento will provide accommodations for your team
  • Free day on Monday to explore Sacramento or visit nearby San Francisco or Napa.
  • Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento does not provide meals
