The house that BEER built – Sunday’s Sactown Wings Festival a success!

Last Sunday, 20 breweries and over 100 volunteers donated their time and efforts to raise funds for Habitat through the “Habitat Beer Garden” at this year’s Sactown Wings festival, an annual event hosted by XOSO Sport and Social League which Habitat was named the nonprofit beneficiary of this year.

The Habitat beer garden, which was organized in large part through Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s “HYP” Leadership Council (Habitat Young Professionals), included 20 different breweries with 100% of the beer proceeds going directly to helping build hope and homes for local families in need of affordable housing in our community.

The funds raised from the  beer sales will go directly into partially sponsoring Habitat’s next home build project.

Big thanks to XOSO, all of our volunteers,  and especially our brew partners whose donations helped make the “Habitat Beer Garden” a success!
