Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s annual Women Build strives to make an impact in our community by creating an environment in which every woman has the power to build a stronger community. This project recruits and empowers women of all different ages, backgrounds, and industries to come together throughout the month of May to make a powerful and visible impact in our local community through housing.
This year’s Women Build is striving to raise $100,000 and bring over 500 women together, because we believe great things happen when WOMEN BUILD.
To participate in this year’s Women Build participants raise $250 to secure their registration before raising their hammers on the jobsite to build new affordable homes for low-income families in the Sacramento and Yolo County areas, as well as help on community projects to revitalize neighborhoods!
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To register for Women Build, individual and team participants are welcome to utilize Habitat’s complimentary crowdfunding tools through April 25th to raise their $250 registration cost OR can pay their $250 registration cost directly and secure their spot HERE. The crowdfunding registration page will be open through April 25th, however the individual registration page will remain open until Women Build 2019 is sold out.
No construction experience is required and all tools and training will be provided! Women Build provides an opportunity for women to grab a pink hard hat and a hammer in order to promote unity, learning, and pride in our community!
Don’t miss out on your chance to join our community in rolling up our sleeves to promote positive, women-led impact! Interested individuals have the option of working on Playhouse builds, Community Projects, or New Home Builds -but only while spots are still available!
