Wells Fargo announces Historic $100,000 Neighborhood Revitalization investment at this year’s Rock the Block!
Friday and Saturday, September 6th and 7th, saw more than 400 volunteers convene on a South Oak Park neighborhood for the second-annual Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento “Rock the Block” event. The event, powered by presenting sponsor Wells Fargo and dozens of community partners, is a one-weekend blitz-repair event that brings together dozens of organizations and hundreds of volunteers to work alongside residents in South Oak Park to repair homes and revitalize the community. Over 36 hours, volunteers completed 23 home repairs alongside 23 homeowners and 6 community projects to uplift the local community center (which serves dozens of nonprofits and hundreds of residents annually).
