Homeowner Services - Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento


Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is a collaborative effort among our staff, families, community volunteers, and sponsors to improve the quality of life for families in need in the Greater Sacramento area. The mission of the homeowner services department is to maintain these partnerships by recruiting, educating, and supporting deserving families for homeownership.

Homeowner Selection Committee

The Homeowner Selection Committee (HSC) is a team of volunteers responsible for helping the Homeowner Services staff to determine if a family applicant is qualified to become a partner family with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento. The Homeowner Selection Committee meets once a month to review applications of potential partner families.  The committee will conduct interviews, credit checks, and home visits.
