Citrus Heights Home Dedication

Join Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento on Saturday, June 6, for the first of three home dedication ceremonies celebrating eight partner families receiving the keys to their very first homes.

This special milestone represents our largest development to date. Located on Sayonara Drive in Citrus Heights, this 26-home community will provide stable, affordable housing for nearly 120 individuals, including children.

Each homeowner has invested 500 hours of sweat equity helping build their home and is purchasing it through a 30-year, 0% interest equivalent mortgage—making the dream of homeownership a reality.

Be part of this inspiring celebration of perseverance, partnership, and new beginnings. Together, we’re building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

About the Citrus Heights Development
This new affordable housing community will provide:

• Revitalization of previously vacant and blighted lots
• 26 all-electric, EV-ready duet homes (2–5 bedrooms, 1,005–1,594 sq. ft.)
• Solar battery storage for energy efficiency and sustainability
• Homeownership opportunities for families earning 30–80% of Area Median Income (AMI)
• Affordable 30-year, 0% interest equivalent fixed-rate mortgages
• A “hand up, not a handout,” empowering long-term financial stability and generational wealth
