Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento believes in acting locally and impacting globally!

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento tithes over 10% of our unrestricted funds to support Habitat for Humanity’s global mission to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness.

Over the last 29 years, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento has tithed over $1,000,000 of unrestricted dollars overseas and has served over 1,586 families through our tithe to Habitat for Humanity Nicaragua.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is currently a tithe partner to Hábitat para la Humanidad Nicaragua, the second poorest country in Latin America.  Our tithe partnership began nearly 30 years ago and has been growing rapidly in the past decade as we here locally attempt to make an even bigger difference in Sacramento and the world around us.

Global Village Trips

In March of 2012, Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento put together our first Global Village Tour to Nicaragua, sending 12 volunteers on a 9-day journey to build hope and homes for families in Nicaragua.
