Build for Unity | February
Held during World Interfaith Harmony Week, Build for Unity brings together more than 200 community members from all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds to support Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Sponsorships start at $500, and individual registration is $100.
Women Build | March
Women Build is a month-long signature event that brings together 600+ women and allies from all backgrounds and professions to support Habitat in building affordable housing for low-income families, including single mothers. Sponsorships start at $1,000, and individual registration is $250.
Run for the Roses Big Day of Giving Kick-Off | May
Kick off Big Day of Giving at Run for the Roses, Habitat’s Kentucky Derby event, and help make your gift go further! This exciting celebration launches Sacramento’s 24-hour giving challenge, rallying our community to raise mission-critical funds for affordable housing. Together, we build hope for generations to come! Sponsorships start at $3,000.
Rock the Block Oak Park | May
Rock the Block Oak Park is a two-day community impact event that brings together hundreds of volunteers to work in partnership with residents on home preservation and neighborhood revitalization projects – helping hardworking families, seniors, and veterans stay in their homes and avoid displacement. Sponsorships start at $1,000, and volunteer opportunities are available.
Hard Hats & High Heels Gala | September
The Hard Hats & High Heels Gala is one of the region’s preeminent black-tie events where business and community leaders gather for an evening that includes a champagne reception, gourmet dinner, outstanding entertainment, an exciting live auction, and a fun-filled after-party. Proceeds from the event support Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Sponsorships start at $5,000, and individual tickets are $400.
Rock the Block West Sacramento | October
Rock the Block West Sacramento is an incredible two-day event that brings together hundreds of volunteers to uplift neighborhoods through critical home repairs, revitalization, and community investment projects. Sponsorships start at $1,000, and volunteer opportunities are available.
Veterans Service Day | November
Join Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento for a special day of service honoring those who have served our country. Veterans, active-duty service members, and community volunteers will work together on home repair projects that make veteran homes safer, more efficient, and more affordable. Playhouse Jingle Build | December
Join us on Giving Tuesday for a festive, hands-on volunteer event where community partners will build and decorate playhouses for local families in need. Home Repair & Neighborhood Revitalization Program
In an effort to preserve the existing affordable housing stock in our community, our Home Repair and Neighborhood Revitalization Program seeks year-round support to help cover critical home repair costs, materials, volunteer coordination, and construction expenses that advance long-term housing stability and strengthen neighborhoods across Sacramento and Yolo counties. Sponsorships start at $5,000
Veteran Repair Program
The Veteran Repair Program provides critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and safety improvements to help local veterans remain comfortably in their homes. Funding directly supports our heroes and helps cover repair costs, materials, volunteer coordination, and construction expenses for veteran households throughout the year. Sponsorships start at $5,000
Playhouse Program
Our Playhouse Program is an engagement opportunity that gives groups and individuals a meaningful, creative, and hands-on day of building playhouses that are then donated to local children. The funds raised through the Playhouse Program support Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope. Sponsorships start at $3,000.

ReStore Volunteer Opportunities | Ongoing
Not in a position to make a donation, but still interested in helping out? Contact us to coordinate a Group ReStore Volunteer Day! The ReStore is our on-site retail operation, where we sell new and gently used home furnishing and improvement items at steeply discounted rates. Teams of up to 15 can be accommodated with opportunities throughout the week. Scheduling is subject to date availability.
Match Partner Opportunities | May & December
