Sacramento Earth Day

Celebrate sustainability and community at Sacramento Earth Day, the largest Earth Day celebration in the Sacramento region! 🌎🌱
Hosted by the Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS), this free, family-friendly event brings together over 100 exhibitors, vendors, nonprofits, and community organizations for a day of learning, networking, and environmental action.
Through interactive exhibits, educational workshops, live music, and meaningful conversations, attendees can explore the impact humans have on the environment and discover practical steps to protect our planet. This year’s theme, “Water We Waiting For?”, highlights the importance of safeguarding our region’s water supply and balancing the needs of people and the natural environment.
Visitors can enjoy plant-based food vendors, sustainability resources, and engaging activities for all ages while connecting with local organizations working toward a greener future.
This event takes place rain or shine and is accessible for attendees of all abilities. Free transit rides are available through Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) on the day of the event, and a free bike valet will also be available for cyclists.
Visit the Habitat Booth
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento will be participating in the Sacramento Earth Day Fair to share how sustainability connects to affordable housing.
Stop by our booth to learn about the Habitat ReStore, which helps reduce landfill waste by selling donated and reusable home improvement materials. By shopping, donating, or volunteering with the ReStore, community members help keep usable materials out of landfills while supporting affordable housing programs throughout the Greater Sacramento region.
Join us to learn how sustainable choices at home can make a lasting impact on both our environment and our community.
