About Rock the Block Bryte/Broderick
Rock the Block is an extraordinary two-day Habitat for Humanity impact event that unites hundreds of volunteers and sponsors to work in partnership with local residents to accomplish numerous vital home repairs, landscape restorations and community revitalization projects.
By channeling financial contributions and thousands of volunteer hours, Habitat for Humanity is able to transform these resources into substantial community investments in historically underserved areas throughout Sacramento and Yolo Counties.
On October 11th and 12th, 2024, Rock the Block is set to make a major difference in the Bryte/Broderick neighborhoods of West Sacramento.

Applying for Rock the Block Bryte/Broderick Repairs
The application period for Rock the Block Bryte/Broderick will open soon. Please click here to be notified when we begin accepting applications for 2024.
If you own a home in the below focus area of Bryte/Broderick in West Sacramento, you may be eligible for low or no-cost home repairs. During our annual two-day event, our amazing team of volunteers and staff help with the following types of repairs:
- Landscaping
- Yard cleanup
- Fencing
- External paint
- Dry rot repair
- Gutter cleaning
- HVAC
- Roof replacement
- Pest abatement
- Windows
- Water heater replacement
- Energy efficiency repairs
- And other beautification and critical home repairs!
