Volunteer | Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento

Volunteer in the ReStore and help Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento raise the funds necessary to build Hope and Homes for families in need. We welcome both individual volunteers and groups! Volunteer opportunities include basic retail duties such as stocking, pricing, cleaning, organizing, recycling, assembling, and customer service.

Getting Started

Step 1: Create a Volunteer Profile HERE

All individual volunteers must create a volunteer profile through VolunteerHub .Please note that you must be at least 16 years old to volunteer on a job site.  Follow the link and click “create profile” (or “sign-in” if a profile has already been created).

Step 2: Attend a Volunteer Orientation/HabitTour

Once you’ve made a profile, you will need to register for a HabiTour. HabiTours are one hour volunteer orientations where we go more in-depth about the Habitat mission and volunteer opportunities.  You can register for an upcoming Orientation/HabiTour through your VolunteerHub login.

Step 3: Sign-up for a volunteer shift

After you attend a HabiTour, you can begin signing up volunteer shifts. Just log into your volunteer profile to see a list of available volunteer days.
