Children: Tawfiq (9), Hasenat (7), Aswah (3), and Tawheed (3 months)

Wahid, Moqadasa, and their four children—Tawfiq, Hasenat, Aswah, and Tawheed—have worked tirelessly to establish a stable life. However, their cramped two-room apartment presents significant challenges. As the sole provider, Wahid who works at Intel supports the household while Moqadasa dedicates her time to caring for their children.
Both Wahid and Moqadasa emphasize the critical role of education in their children’s
future. As their children grow and advance in their studies, the need for adequate space to learn and rest becomes increasingly urgent.
Despite the challenges they face and Wahid’s demanding work schedule, he is deeply committed to giving back to their community. He regularly volunteers to teach computer classes in Sacramento, promoting technological literacy and empowering others with valuable skills. His dedication highlights not only his desire to improve his own family’s circumstances but also his passion for making a positive impact on those around him.
For Wahid and Moqadasa, their future Habitat for Humanity home represents more than just a physical space—it is the foundation for a brighter future. It will provide their children with the stability and space they need to thrive academically and personally, laying the groundwork for lifelong success.
