Now Accepting New Home Applications: Citrus Heights

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is now accepting applications for new affordable homes in Citrus Heights as part of our Sayonara Drive development. The application period is open from February 1 through March 25.
A total of 14 newly constructed homes are available, including 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom options. Homes will be sold to qualified applicants through affordable 30-year, 0% equivalent mortgages, making homeownership more accessible for local families.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must attend a Homeownership Information Session, either in person or through the virtual orientation option, prior to submitting an application.
During the application process, applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Housing need
- Ability to pay an affordable mortgage
- Willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including completing sweat equity
