VETERANS SERVICE DAY
Join Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento for a special day of service honoring those who have served our country. Our veterans protected our homes — now it’s our turn to protect theirs.
This one-day event will bring together veterans, active-duty service members, and community volunteers to work side by side on home repair projects that help maintain and preserve homes, making them safer, more energy-efficient, and more affordable for qualified veteran homeowners in Sacramento and Yolo counties.
DATE: Thursday, November 11th, 2025
TIME: 8AM to 2PM

VETERAN-LED TEAM LEADERSHIP
Each project is managed by Habitat’s veteran staff, who bring construction expertise and a deep understanding of the unique needs of fellow veterans.

HOME REPAIRS FOR VETERANS
Repairs range from accessibility modifications to fence repairs, dry rot removal, and painting—all focused on safety, stability, and affordability for veteran homeowners.

STRENGTHING THE VETERAN COMMUNITY
Veterans will engage in the project both as volunteers and beneficiaries, creating a supportive environment that celebrates and empowers those who have served.
