Meet Hussamuddin & Aalia

Children: Bibi Maryam, Bibi Mawloda, Zainuddin, Burhanuddin, and Qamaruddin

In a household filled with energy, ambition, and strong family bonds, Hussamuddin and Aalia are raising five children with a focus on education  and mutual support. Together with Bibi Maryam, Bibi Mawloda, Zainuddin, Burhanuddin, and Qamaruddin, they create a home centered on encouragement and shared goals.

Hussamuddin works as a rideshare driver, dedicating long hours to provide for his family. His commitment reflects a broader family value: working hard today to create greater opportunities for tomorrow. This mindset is evident as two of their children pursue college—an achievement that highlights the family’s dedication to education and progress.

Before partnering with Habitat for Humanity, the family of seven lived in a small two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. The home felt extremely crowded, making it difficult to find space for studying, rest, and daily routines. Rising rent payments contributed to the family’s stress, despite the apartment’s poor condition and unsafe surroundings. Throughout it all, they remained focused on supporting one another and making the most of their circumstances.

Today, their Habitat home provides the space and stability they have been striving toward. Each family member now has greater room to focus on school, work, and personal growth, all within a safe and supportive environment.

For Hussamuddin and Aalia, homeownership represents the opportunity to continue building on their family’s progress, creating a place where their children can pursue their goals and where their family can grow together with confidence and pride.
