2023 By the Numbers

Because of amazing supporters like you, we accomplished record numbers in 2023!

  • 13 new homes built and 12 homes under construction
  • 32 community impact projects completed
  • 80 homes repaired or in progress
  • 140 families served in Nicaragua through our tithe
  • 200+ homeowner applications received for the 13 homes we dedicated this year
  • 290 partner organizations helped change lives
  • 8,000+ individuals served through build, repair, and community projects
  • 1,505 hours of job training and workforce development provided to young adults and students
  • 34,843 volunteer hours contributed by the community
  • 1,000,000 pounds of materials diverted from the landfill by ReStore
  • $1,227,694 in ReStore sales

A Survey of Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento

A survey of Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento’s first 100 families found that since receiving their Habitat home:

  • 76% of families with school-age children have seen an improvement in study habits and school
  • 59% of families have had at least one family member start or complete higher education of job-training programs
  • 57% of families have more savings
  • 0% of families previously on food stamps remained on food stamps!
