West Sacramento Senior Resource Fair

Older adults and caregivers are invited to attend the West Sacramento Senior Resource Fair on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the West Sacramento Community Center. Hosted by the City of West Sacramento in celebration of Older Americans Month, this free community event brings together local organizations, services, and resources designed to support seniors in living healthy, safe, and connected lives.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with community partners and learn about programs that support aging well in West Sacramento.
What to Expect:
- Senior Support Services – Learn about programs and services available to assist older adults and their families.
- Health & Wellness Resources – Explore wellness information, workshops, health screenings, and resources that promote active and healthy aging.
- Older Americans Month Proclamation – Attend a special proclamation ceremony recognizing the contributions and achievements of older adults in the community.
- Free Document Shredding – Bring up to 10 lbs of paper documents for secure shredding, courtesy of the City of West Sacramento Sustainability Division.
- Free Via Rides – Complimentary Via rideshare transportation will be available to help attendees travel to and from the event.
- Light Snacks – Enjoy complimentary refreshments while visiting resource booths.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento will be participating in the event to connect with older adults and share information about home repair opportunities in West Sacramento. Our team will provide details about critical health and safety repairs, accessibility modifications, and home improvement programs that help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
