Rock the Block Oak Park
Habitat is now accepting home repair applications for Oak Park! Deadline to apply is Friday, January 10th.
You will need to submit the following information with your application:
1. Proof of ownership of the property (most recent mortgage statement)
2. Proof of current homeowners insurance (current homeowners insurance policy declaration page)
3. Most recent tax return/tax filing for anyone over the age of 18 in the household; if you do not file taxes, please contact our office at repair@habitatgreatersac.org to discuss other options for confirming financial qualification.
4. CA Driver’s License or Identification Card for anyone over the age of 18 in the household.
If you own a home in the designated focus area of Oak Park, you may be eligible for low or no-cost home repairs. During our annual two-day event, our amazing team of volunteers and staff help with the following types of repairs:
- Landscaping
- Yard cleanup
- Fencing
- Exterior painting
- Dry rot repair
- Gutter cleaning
- HVAC
- Roof replacement
- Pest abatement
- Windows
- Water heater replacement
- Energy efficiency repairs
- And other beautification and critical home repairs!

Rock the Block is an extraordinary two-day community initiative, uniting hundreds of volunteers and supporters to collaborate with local residents in accomplishing numerous vital home repairs, property enhancements, and community projects over the span of a weekend.
By channeling financial contributions and thousands of volunteer hours, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento transforms these resources into substantial community investments in historically neglected areas.
