Home Sponsorship

Home Sponsorship provides the essential funding needed for new home construction, directly supporting Habitat’s mission to build and preserve affordable housing throughout our region. By contributing to these projects, you help create safe, stable homes for low-income families, seniors, and veterans in need, fostering stronger communities and brighter futures for generations to come.

Your financial support enables us to purchase vital building materials, construction tools, and supplies for these impactful home build projects. In return, your company gains unique team-building opportunities, increased promotional visibility, and a meaningful connection to Habitat’s mission and impact.

Through Habitat’s Affordable Homeownership Program, we offer a hand-up, not a hand-out, empowering hardworking low-income families to become first-time homeowners. To qualify, each partner family must earn between 30-80% of the area median income (AMI) and commit to 500 hours of sweat equity, building not only their future home but also supporting the homes of others. Once their commitment is fulfilled, the family purchases their home with a 30-year, 0%-interest-equivalent mortgage, creating a pathway to stability and generational equity.

Since 1985, Habitat has helped families achieve stability and financial security through affordable homeownership. As a Home Sponsor, your company plays a vital role in empowering local families and creating a legacy of long-term community growth and equity. Thank you for partnering with us to build brighter futures, one home at a time.
