Sacramento County’s 2026 Women and Girls Festival

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is excited to participate in Sacramento County’s 2026 Women and Girls Festival, a vibrant, community-wide celebration honoring the strength, leadership, and potential of women and girls throughout Sacramento County.
Hosted by the Sacramento County Commission on the Status of Women & Girls at Sacramento City College, this free, family-friendly festival brings together families, community leaders, nonprofits, and local organizations for a day filled with engaging activities, live entertainment, food, and meaningful connections. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of resources focused on financial empowerment, health and wellness, education, employment, and community support.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento will be onsite to connect with women and families interested in affordable homeownership opportunities. Our team will share information about Habitat’s homeownership program, including eligibility, the application process, financial education, and resources designed to support first-time and women-led households. We’ll also highlight how affordable homeownership can help build long-term stability, independence, and generational wealth.
The festival will also feature a Youth and Kids Zone, creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for families and community members of all ages to learn, connect, and celebrate together.
