Habitat is currently working on a very special project to help a local Veteran in need of home repairs. Santiago is a 74-year old Veteran who served active duty in Vietnam as a short jumper and is currently living in a home with severe roof leakage, dry rot, and mold.
DPR Construction steps in to close the funding gap on 2 Habitat homes!
Today DPR Construction pledged to close the entire $25,000 funding gap needed to complete the two final homes of the Habitat Neal Road construction project. The news came as a shock to the Habitat staff who had reached out to DPR in hopes the construction company might consider closing the $10,000 or $15,000 funding gap on one of the homes – never imagining they would take on both.
